Steel Pincers
We have chosen to offer you two types of pincers, An all steel variety, as pictured here and a pair manufactured from chrome
vanadium steel for the professional and serious DIY person alike. These have slip guards and a soft padded grip to prevent hands from blistering when used excessively. (See Code T13 for the padded type)
ProTip: The blades of pincers used for removing the exposed heads of tacks or staples are best blunted. Do this by closing them lightly with a metal file trapped between the jaws and work the file to remove the sharp edges. You will also find them easier to use if you don't pull the tack or staple but remove it by rolling the shoulders to one side. (make sure you do not roll onto your show wood)
