Coloured Eyelets

These pretty eyelets are easy to fix without special tools. They are made of a tuff plastic material. They are to be used with Rufflette eyelet tape which is pre-holed or directly into fabric. The hole size is 3.6mm in diameter. Ratchet system allows them to be used on heavy or lightweight fabrics.
You will need approximately 9 eyelets per metre.

Button Moulds
These button moulds are for machine use only. To be used with a lever type or screw type press. Please check whether your die is metric or imperial (this will be written on the die) to be sure that you order the correct buttons. Some moulds may work in both types but occasionally a metric will not fit an imperial die or visa versa.
The dies and cutters we sell are imperial but we do sell both types of fronts and backs.
Buttons come with three types of backs, loop, nail and split prong.


Please note that imperial sizes are sold in packs of 5 gross and include both backs and fronts. Metric sizes are sold in packs of 1000's and the fonts and backs are sold seperately, so you will need to order both backs and fronts of these to make sets. Please see drop down list for details of types, sizes and prices.

Press Studs Wood Screw to Fabric & Fxg Tool There are times when fabric needs to be fixed to wood but not permanently. This press fastener fixes to fabric one side and srews into wood on the other side. 6, three part snaps sold complete with setting tool. Refill pack also available. The bottom part in the picture is about 14mm diameter

Covered Buttons (Tack or Nail Back)
Tack or Nail back buttons can be used on headboards or box lids for example. However it is best to make a pilot hole for the button so that it will go into the hard surface easier.
We will cover buttons with your own fabric. Allow approximately 2 sqr inches of fabric per button (do not cut fabric into squares), double for fine fabrics, include details of requirements on line with your main order and post fabric seperately - or simply download our order form and post your complete order.
A small post and packing charge of £3 (UK only) will be made for buttons sent on their own. To use this service choose the postage item from the drop down box.

Covered Buttons (Split Prong Back)
Split prong buttons are used on hard backed areas where the prong can be opened to hold the button in place. Where there is a danger of the prong tearing the backing fold the prongs back onto the special washers which are available seperately. The prongs are 45 mm long.

Allow an area of approx 2 inches sqaure per button (please do not cut into squares), or double that amount for fine fabrics, include details of requirements on line with your main order and post fabric seperately - or simply ownload our order form and post your complete order. Gem Buttons
When it comes to the 'WOW' factor these buttons certainly have it. Popular at the moment with some of the top Interior designers these gem buttons are being used on rich fabrics like velvet and chenille, on headboards and chairs.
These loop back buttons are available in two sizes approx 17mm and 20mm diameter. They are sold separately or you can make a saving by buying them in packs of 20 or 50.

Covered Nail Back Buttons
Approx. 3/4" or 19mm dia
Supply us with a piece of your fabric an area of approx 2 inches sqaure per button (please do not cut into squares) and we will cover these nail back buttons for you. However it is best to make a suitable pilot hole before pushing or gently knocking the button into place.

Lever Press Button Covering Machine
This machine is used to press out covered buttons but the machine needs to be used with cutter and die sets (purchased separately) according to the button size. Button moulds are also purchased separately. Please ask for further details and prices for other sizes and types of button moulds.
